However, real-world situations seldom fit perfectly within these parameters; hence actual results may vary significantly based on individual cases.
The duration for which a 12V battery runs an AC depends primarily upon three factors:
Battery Capacity & Health: This determines how much total charge a battery has available before depletion. Higher capacity generally means longer runtime. Also, if the battery isn’t fully charged or its health deteriorates over time due to usage patterns, its effective capacity decreases accordingly.
Power Consumption Of Your AC Unit: Every air conditioning unit consumes different levels of power depending on their size, efficiency rating, mode settings (cool vs fan), and other features they might have. Lower consumption equals extended operation times.
