User Guide for vacuuming air conditioner and adding refrigerant
Before we start vacuuming air conditioner and adding refrigerant, we need to prepare following items:

How to vacuum air conditioner?
1. Open the housing of outdoor unit of air conditioner.
2. Find the low pressure and high pressure refrigerant filling connector. Usually the pipe of low pressure has bigger diameter than the one of high pressure. The color of low pressure connector cap is in blue. The color of high pressure connector cap is in red.
3. Take off the caps of both connectors.
4. Connect blue hose between low pressure connector of tool kit and low pressure connector of air conditioner.
5. Connect red hose between high pressure connector of tool kit and high pressure connector of air conditioner.
6. Connect yellow hose between vacuum pump connector of tool kit and suction of vacuum pump.
7. To be sure all connections are tightly connected.
8. Release low pressure valve knob and high pressure valve knob of tool kit.
9. Turn on the vacuum pump.
10. Keep vacuum pump working at least 20min. The low pressure gauge and high pressure should be at 0 or even lower.
11. Close low pressure valve knob and high pressure valve knob.
12. Wait for 30mins and observe if there is any value change of low pressure gauge and high pressure gauge to make sure there is no leakage in air conditioner.
After vacuuming air conditioner, we can start adding refrigerant.
How to add refrigerant?
13. Keep low pressure hose connecting low pressure connector of tool kit and low pressure connector of air conditioner. Keep high pressure hose connecting high pressure connector of tool kit and high pressure connector of air conditioner.
14. Connect yellow hose to refrigerant filling connector of tool kit. Connect another side of yellow hose to can opener.
15. Keep low pressure knob and high pressure knob of tool kit closed.
16. Take one can of refrigerant R134a. Turn can opener clockwise to pierce the cap of cap. Then turn can opener anticlockwise till refrigerant comes out.
17. Turn on air conditioner. Set target temperature to 18℃ to make compressor work in purpose.
18. Press air evacuation valve of tool kit to evacuate air in the yellow hose.
19. Open low pressure knob of tool kit.
20. Observe if there is refrigerant passing through observe window of tool kit. If there is no more refrigerant passing through window, that means there is no more refrigerant in this can. During adding process, users can hold refrigerant can in bottom-up way and shake to make refrigerant enter air conditioner more easily.
21. When one can of refrigerant is finished, close low knob of tool kit. Change another can of refrigerant. Repeat step No.16, 18, 19, 20, 21 till enough refrigerant is added.
22. After adding refrigerant, turn off the air conditioner, take off all hoses, put back caps of low pressure connector and high pressure connector of air conditioner and mount the housing of outdoor unit of air conditioner.
