ELectric DC air conditioner is a new type of application of AC units in vehicle scenarios. Many truck air conditioner test indicators, test parameters and test methods under this new application are still blank and in the exploratory stage.

In order to complete the accumulation of field test parameters of the testing project, we went to Turpan this time. Through the zero-distance feeling of the hot and dry climate, the all-weather and all-round simulation of the operation of the parking air conditioner in extreme environments, and participating in the installation, commissioning and testing of the parking air conditioner, which provides valuable experience for the development of new testing activities.

User: Can you elaborate on the specific test samples and test indicators this time?

The electric dc air conditioner model tested this time is JUKOOL 24v truck air conditioner. This time, we mainly test the performance of the parking air conditioner. Including:

Continuous operation during the day (when the ground surface reaches a certain temperature during the day, test the operating time of the air conditioner);

Continuous operation at night;

Nanjing FUTRUN: The heat in Turpan is dry and hot, which is different from the damp heat in the south such as Guangzhou. The surface temperature can reach more than 70 degrees, and the air temperature is about 40 degrees.The main feeling is very dry, like a dry face after taking a shower in winter. To do the evaluation outside, we need to wear gloves, hats, jackets and other protections and start a series of tests such as equipment connection, distribution, control, etc. Due to the needs of the test, we adopt the strategy of "taking turns", not afraid of bad environment, with the help of tools, adopt various strategies to complete the test. Among them, some of the research and investment in the remote testing and monitoring capabilities of equipment in the early stage of our refrigeration business department have been fully applied here. We use the wifi system and the network to realize the remote monitoring of most equipment, which can effectively reduce the number of test staff outdoors. Working for a long time in such a harsh environment.

 

User: Why did the company choose to bring the air conditioner to Turpan for testing instead of setting up a simulated high temperature laboratory for indoor testing?

Nanjing FUTRUN: The indoor simulated high temperature test is often different from the outdoor natural environment test, and the test data is not accurate. There is no way for the laboratory to simulate actual operating scenarios. We chose Turpan as the test station considering its high temperature and sunshine intensity.

 

For long-distance drivers, the truck is like their home. And the comfort of this home will also have an impact on their work during the long-distance travel. We all know that the temperature inside the cabin can reach as high as 55℃ in summer.
