How to keep your RV as warm as spring on a cold night?
The RV opens up the life of migratory birds for people. In winter, they drive the RV to the south, and in the summer, they return to the north from the south, so they live a life like spring all year round. However, there are still some RV players who like to enjoy the beauty of the four seasons, but in some areas the coldest winter can reach as much as -30°C, which is a severe test for players and RVs. So, how can you experience the warmth of spring in a cold area? Today, I will briefly introduce an important part of the RV - the parking heating system.

Parking heaters are divided into two types according to the fuel source, fuel parking heaters and gas parking heaters. This time, we will focus on the fuel heater, which is a small vehicle-mounted combustion cycle heating device. Its power supply comes from the 12V power supply of the battery in the living area of the RV compartment. It heats the coolant in the water tank by burning the fuel in the fuel tank in the car to achieve the purpose of preheating the engine, providing warm air in the car, and heating domestic hot water. It can be said that the fuel heater plays an important role in the RV. Among the models currently on the market, some RVs will be equipped with a heater as standard, and some RVs need it as option.

We all know that the main sources of heating in RVs are parking air conditioners, parking heaters, and driving air conditioners. In contrast, the principle of the parking air conditioner is relatively simple. It provides power supply through an external power supply, and only needs to turn on the heating mode of the indoor unit to heat up. However, the lack of parking air conditioning is also more obvious. The parking air conditioner can only be used normally when there is an external mains power supply, and the battery pack in the RV cannot be satisfied. Players who often travel outside cannot guarantee that they can always receive mains power wherever they go.

The driving air conditioner needs to be used when the RV is started. In this case, the limitations are relatively large, and it is not suitable for the RV to sleep and heat at night. As for the parking heater, it is relatively convenient and worry-free. At night, the outdoor temperature is about minus 4 degrees. Turn on the fuel heater within 30 minutes before going to bed. When I was ready to rest, the moment I opened the door, a heat wave came oncoming, and I slept more comfortably all night. Imagine the temperature of minus ten degrees in winter, living in an RV without feeling cold at all, this is a relatively happy thing.
